This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on 365agents.com, what each one is for, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our privacy policy, which covers personal information more broadly.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels, and embedded content such as video players — do much the same job. Where this policy says “cookies”, it means all of them.
The categories we use
We group cookies into four categories. Only the first is set automatically; the other three wait for your consent.
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work. These remember your cookie choices, keep forms secure, and balance traffic across servers. They cannot be switched off.
Examples: Your cookie-preference record, anti-abuse protection on the contact form.
Functional
Remember choices you make so the site behaves the way you left it.
Examples: Remembering a dismissed banner or a preferred demo agent.
Analytics
Help us count visits and see which pages and demos people actually use, so we know what to improve.
Examples: Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager.
Marketing
Let us measure ad campaigns and show you relevant ads on other sites. Under California law this counts as “sharing” your personal information.
Examples: Advertising and remarketing pixels, embedded YouTube demo videos.
How we ask
The first time you visit, a banner appears at the bottom of the page. Nothing outside the strictly necessary category is set until you choose. You can accept everything, reject everything, or pick category by category — rejecting is exactly one click, the same as accepting.
We remember your choice for 6 months and then ask again. We also ask again if we change what a category covers.
Changing your mind
Use the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of any page. It reopens the same panel, and withdrawing consent takes effect immediately — we do not keep using a category after you switch it off.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Doing so removes our record of your choice, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information under California law. Analytics and marketing cookies stay off for as long as the signal is set, and you do not need to interact with our banner for that to happen. We honour the signal even if you later click “Accept all”.
Embedded videos
Our demo videos are hosted on YouTube. Video thumbnails are served from our own servers, so browsing the page sends nothing to Google. The player itself only loads once you have given marketing consent and pressed play — at which point YouTube can see your IP address and set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.
What we record when you choose
When you make a choice we store a consent receipt so we can show what was agreed if we are ever asked. The receipt holds: a random reference number, the date and time, which categories you allowed, how you told us (accept, reject, saved preferences, or a GPC signal), the version of this notice you were shown, the page you were on, your browser's user-agent string and language, and your approximate country.
It does not include your name, your email address, or your IP address. We store a one-way scrambled form of your IP address instead, which lets us confirm a specific choice was made from a given connection if that is ever disputed, but cannot be turned back into the address itself.
We keep consent receipts for 36 months and then delete them.
